Thank You Card

Happy Super Bowl Sunday to you all! I got inky instead of watching pre-game stuff. I just can't get into football. I like to watch other sports, but football just escapes me.
Actually, this card required very little stamping. Just the sentiment. The yummy paper is from the "La Creme" matstack from DCWV. It is wonderful paper! There are several sheets in the stack that have felt embossed designs, like the flowers on this card. Makes for a really easy card. Card base is Gina K Luxury Ivory, layered with black from the same matstack. Tuxedo black ink from Memento, Black grosgrain ribbon from Offray.
Pretty simple, but the effect is very pretty. It is nicer in person....my picture taking skills have never been my strong suit.......
Have a wonderful day! God Bless!

February Sister Swap

Good morning, stampers! Today my post is all about the sister swap that two of my sisters and I do each month. Terri was our "hostess" this month and she wanted us to use black, red and white and stipulated "no valentines". Color challenges are usually pretty tough for me, but this one I could handle, it came together pretty easily.
Card base is Gina K Luxury Black-you can't beat this paper! Layers are Stampin'Up! as is the sentiment. Flower stamp is a Clear Stamp. DP came from my scrapbox, I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and brads from Joann's.
Thanks for stopping by today! God Bless!

Valentines, valentines....

Good day happy stampers! I'm making a concerted effort to stamp A LOT more these days, largely to keep the cabin fever bug away......today's card was really fun to make, it made me smile........I love this DP! The image was colored while at my sister's house last week. I got to try out her Copics. Whew! They are pretty awesome, there is a learning curve involved though. It will take me some time for sure.
Card base is Gina K Luxury White, a black layer is layered with Bo Bunny Alisa DP, soo cute!, next layer is Stampin' Up! DSP, image is layered on more GKD Black cut with rectangle nestie. The image is drawn by P. Hillman, I'm not sure what company. Square brads are from JoAnn's. In the close-up below, you can see that I colored the heart on the bear's chest with a red gel pen from Spica. The angel wing also was colored with a Spica pen. They are really cool too, small particles of glass make the sparkle.
Thanks so much for stopping in today! I hope your day is blessed!

More Gkids Valentines!

Good Morning paper crafters! I have two more Grandkid Valentines today. My pictures aren't really great, the weather has been dark and dreary, so lighting was a problem. I made these a few days ago and wanted to get them posted.
Both cards use more Alien digi images from Janie over at GTC Crafting. Be sure to check her out, she has fabulous images! I colored both images with my Koh-i-noor pencils and blended with OMS. Card stock is from Stampin' Up! (yellow cardstock in the above card is a mystery-it was a gift ) DP is from DCWV of course.....Sentiments on both cards are Clear Stamps. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink on both cards. Other accessories include : SU Ticket Corner Punch, Word Window Punch, Marvy Circle Punches, Ribbon from Offray and Bling from Michaels. That covers everything, I think!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Blessings!

Dustin Pike Elephant Valentine

Happy day to everyone! I hope you are looking forward to a great weekend! I know I am, I will be spending some stamping time with my sister, Terri on Sunday-can't wait. We have such a fun time together! I am working on Valentine's Day cards for my grandkids + one, so you will be seeing alot of kiddie type cuties in the next several days! Today my card has a digi from Dustin Pike. If you are not familiar with his work, you need to take the time to check him out. He does outrageously funny cartoon like images. A visit to his blog will just make you smile, the above link is for his store, you can get to his blog from there.

Isn't this elephant a cutie? I colored him with my Koh-i-nor pencils and blended with OMS. Card stock is from Stampin'Up, DP from DCWV and ribbon is Offray. The side panel was run thru my Cuttlebug, using the Divine Swirls Embossing Folder. I can't decide if I should send this card to Alyah in England or my + one, Madison in Alabama....what do you think?
Thanks so much for looking in today! Blessings!
