Happy Monday, All!  I managed to get a bit of stamping done this past weekend.  It felt pretty good!  Today's card is a simple one, I used Upsy Daisy from SU, stamped in Tuxedo Black from Memento. The pattern paper I used is from DCWV, all other cardstock and the butterfly are also from Stampin' Up!     Simple, simple card. You can never have too many Thank You cards on hand.

Have a wonderful day!

Thanks Be To God.....

Good Tuesday afternoon. We are in Gadsden, Alabama for about a week now. It is nice to be stationary for a few days in a row. From here we will be in Carrolton, Georgia for several days and then we should be able to start home around the 15th of the month. WOOHOO! This girl is getting pretty lonesome for family! On to my card.....I made it a few weeks ago, and have been searching for the crafter who made the one I cased. I feel really awful for not having written down the info, giving proper credit is important to me. So if by chance you see this, email me and I will give the credit to you.

Black and White

I was surfing around looking for inspiration the other day and Black and White is what seems to get me going. I needed a Thank You card for a friend and had planned to use one from my stash, but then saw an idea that spurred me on. My daughter and I attended a "Pride and Prejudice Tea" at a friend's house last weekend. There were 14 ladies there and we had tea (REAL tea), scones, torte, quiche, fruit cups and various other delicacies. After eating we watched "Wives and Daughters", a mini series along the same line as Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility. It was a wonderful day. We had to leave before watching the last movie, because we had a two hour drive home.........all in all, a great girl friend kind of day. Anyway, on to the card.....

CardBase-Whisper White-Stampin' Up! Black layer-from the scrap box. Pattern Paper-DCWV (doesn't it just work here??) Heart Stamp-Inkadinkado, Ink-Tuxedo Black-Memento,Ribbon-Offray Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots EF.

Upsy Daisy Thank You

Isn't that Upsy Daisy set from Stampin'Up just a staple to our little papercrafting world these days? It is really so versatile. The sketch for this card is from the OCC a few weeks ago. The picture didn't come out like I would have liked, but here it is anyway.........

Supplies: This is an easy one.....All Stampin' Up! except for the square brads on the top right. They are from JoAnn's Fabrics.
Thanks for stopping in today! God Bless.

Dragonfly Thank You

Good Thursday Morning! I had great fun making this card. I started with a sketch I saw on Splitcoast, but then changed the layout.....I have been wanting to use this dragonfly stamp for quite some time but hadn't been able to get anything to come together, so I like how this turned out.
The dragonfly and the sentiment stamps are acrylics from Inkadinkado. I chose to mat and mat and mat on this card. When finished the layers amount to 10 when you get to the top of the dragonfly!! Yes Girl, this WILL take extra postage! I stamped everything in Perfect Plum ink from Stampin' Up! The card base and one of the layers is Eggplant Envy, also SU. Confetti Cream is used to layer and on one layer you will see that I used my Textile EF and Cuttlebug. Mustard cardstock and striped DP are from a DCWV mat pack. The square brads are from Joann's. I hope you enjoy this card too and that it inspires you to create!
Thanks for looking today! God Bless!

WOW! Check Out This Cause....

While perusing thru my daily blog list, I came across this information on Dawn Easton's blog. Carolyn King, has posted a Blog Candy for a Cause challenge to us all. She would like to have as many cards made to Alzheimer caregivers to say "Thank You", as we can come up with.....I know there are a bunch of us out there who would love to help. Check out her link above for all the details and send someone a special thank you.......below is the card I'm sending.

The image is one I have had for a really long time, I purchased it from Close to my Heart years ago. I woke up the other night, thinking.......I could color that spray with fall colors. This is what I came up with, I know the reds in the spray look sort of pinky, but they are really a nice fall red. The card base is Riding Hood Red, layered with Cream Confetti that I ran thru the Cuttlebug, using the Swiss Dots EF. I layered the image with YoYo Yellow and Brilliant Blue cardstock. (all card stock is Stampin' Up!) The borders are embellished with pearl dew drops.
Thanks for looking again today and be sure and check out the important blog links mentioned above! Have a happy day and God Bless!!
