Cuttlebug Challenge!

Good Morning! Today's card is for Cuttlebug Challenge. FUN,FUN!!!! You can see it here. The idea with this one is to use 3 Embossing folders on one card. Who'da thought???? It is a fun idea and the looks that the others have come up with are great. Below is my card.

All cardstock is from Stampin' Up!- Whisper White, YoYo Yellow, Lovely Lilac and Pink Passion. The glittery pump is fun sparkly paper from my sis. I used the Stylized Flowers, Swiss Dots and Happy Birthday embossing folders. The pump is a diecut from the Princess die set (CuttleKids). Sentiment is "Happy Everything"- SU. Brads were purchased from GinaK Designs. Pop dots were used to help the "pump" and "Birthday" stand out a bit.

Fishin'

Good Monday to you all! I trust you had a wonderful weekend. We were planning a pretty quiet one here, but things changed for the better. We babysat g-kids on Friday night and spent Saturday with our daughter-in-law. On Sunday evening, our oldest son and his brood came by for dinner and a soak in the hot tub. It was all good. We woke with smiles on our faces this morning. :>)
I was able to squeeze in a few cards this weekend. Below is one of them. The card base is Dark Navy textured stock for Bazzil (what nice paper). Confetti White from Stampin' Up! and Blue Plaid from my stash complete the card. I used my small oval punch from Marvy and my double rectangle punch from SU for the label. Black ribbon is from Making Memories. Image is colored with SU and BIC markers.

Thanks for looking today. Hope your day is good. God Bless!

Simple.....but Elegant

Looking forward to the weekend? We should have a pretty quiet one here. It is supposed to be rainy.......maybe a pot of soup is in order.
Today's card is made from a sketch I used several years ago. The background is done with the "Script" background stamp (Retired Stampin' Up!). I masked the center area with an oval piece of paper so that I could place the tulip bulb image. I used my Scallop Edger on the Navy (Bazzil) and Silver (SU) cardstock and then pierced the scallops with my mat pack and paper piercer. The finishing touch is Navy Organdy ribbon (Retired SU). Flower image is colored with markers.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a good one. God Bless!

Dragonfly Thank You

Good Thursday Morning! I had great fun making this card. I started with a sketch I saw on Splitcoast, but then changed the layout.....I have been wanting to use this dragonfly stamp for quite some time but hadn't been able to get anything to come together, so I like how this turned out.
The dragonfly and the sentiment stamps are acrylics from Inkadinkado. I chose to mat and mat and mat on this card. When finished the layers amount to 10 when you get to the top of the dragonfly!! Yes Girl, this WILL take extra postage! I stamped everything in Perfect Plum ink from Stampin' Up! The card base and one of the layers is Eggplant Envy, also SU. Confetti Cream is used to layer and on one layer you will see that I used my Textile EF and Cuttlebug. Mustard cardstock and striped DP are from a DCWV mat pack. The square brads are from Joann's. I hope you enjoy this card too and that it inspires you to create!

My Boyfriend FRANK!

Happy October 1 ! Hoping you have a wonderful fall day. Today my card is based on a sketch I saw this week on SCS, you can see it here. I have had this "Frank" stamp for several years and only get to use it occasionally, but I just love the whimsey of it. It comes from Close To My Heart. I think it was one of the first stamps I ever purchased ;0).

The card base and DP are both Stampin' Up! Pumpkin Pie. The speckled black and off white stock is from a pack of paper that I'm not sure about.......but I like it, I'm a paper freak......

Frank is colored with SU and Bic markers. The round black brads come from Joann's, as does the ribbon. Hope you enjoy looking at my boyfriend.....ain't he handsome!!!

Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by. God Bless!
