Quietly Masculine

Happy Monday. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I certainly did. Only got a chance to stamp for awhile. My time has become pretty precious as I have gone back to a 40 hour work week. Today I have a card that would be nice for a male who might need a little encouragement.

Card base is More Mustard (Stampin' Up!). Plaid Pattern paper is from Lasting Impressions. The brown cardstock is from the stash called "nobody knows :>)....... I used my Word Window punch on some cork and anchored it with small, round black brads from JoAnn's. The leaf stamp is from a Martha Stewart Clear Stamp set. Sentiment is from My Sentiments Exactly stamps.

More Holiday Fun

Good day to all! Today my cards represent the Jewish Festival of Lights, Hanukkah. Traditionally, blue is in the theme, and like Christmas you can chose whimsy or glitz . Today, I have leaned on the side of whimsy.

Cardstock is from Stampin' Up! Pattern Paper is from a DCWV stack. Stamps are from A Muse Stamps and Hero Arts. I used my Scallop Edge Punch, Oval Punch and my Word Window Punch. Ribbon is from Offray. Black Brads-JoAnn's and Blue Brads- GinaK Designs.

Getting Ready for the Holidays!

Are you getting ready for the holidays? I always try to start thinking about things early, but can never seen to reach all the goals I set for myself in that respect? Anyone out there like me.......Today's card is for Thanksgiving.

Cardbase is Pumpkin Pie,basket is stamped on Confetti Cream, both from Stampin' Up!. The Sentiment as well as the basket and fruit are from retired SU sets. Brown cardstock and Pattern Paper are from DCWV. I used both my Scallop Edge (SU) and my Threading Water (Fiskars) edgers on this card. Ribbon is from Offray and Leaf Brad from a package I've had for a while. (someone removed the label :>(......wonder who that could be) Well, thanks so much for looking today. God Bless!!

Success.....?

A fun, quirky card today. The sentiment is from "Smarty Pants". It's Stampin' Up! and I just love the fun sayings in it. Check it out. Cardstock is all SU also and the Patterned Paper is from DCWV. (Love those 12 x 12) packs!) Brads were purchased from GinaK Designs, and ribbon is from Offray.
The entire sentiment says " If at first you don't succeed, find out if the loser gets anything!" It is a quote by Bill Lyons. I think you can't be a loser if you can find chocolate!!

Thanks for stopping by today. I have a busy day. Have a good one....God Bless!!

FORE!

I know its getting to cold to golf in alot of places.......but the golfing guy always appreciates a card that reminds him of his hobby. The image comes from an OLD retired Stampin' Up! set called FORE! Striped DP is also SU. Olive DP is from Lasting Impressions, I've had it in my box for years. I have noticed some cards where the paper crimper is being used again, so I dusted mine off and crimped the brown cardstock the golfing images is stamped on. It is also popped up with dimensionals.
Other accessories include: Oval punch from Fiskars and small brushed gold brads from Joanns.
Thanks for looking today. Have a great weekend! God Bless.
