Fireman Birthday
Well, this is my last full day at Patti's. It is raining, but we are getting ready to go. Just a few loose ends to tie up......then we are heading east in the morning. I have a few cards stored up to post, hopefully all will go smoothly.
This sweet little image is from Bugaboo Stamps, the images there are soooo adorable. This fireman is for one of my grandsons. He just loves firemen......his birthday isn't until August, so I am way ahead of the game here! All supplies are from Stampin' Up!, except for the nestibility. Such a fun card to make. I hope you enjoy!

Mojo 136
Well, so Patti got me to do a Mojo Monday card. Haven't done that in a long time, it was sure fun. We only have a few days left. It is so easy to work in her craft room, even the air in there is creative!! Soooo, my card is very much like hers!! Heehee!!
This card is almost completely Stampin' Up! with exception of the ribbon and the flower. It was quick and easy and just made us happy today. Hope you enjoy it too!

It's About Time.....
Well, I am visiting at my sister, Patti's house and we have been having a great time in her craft room, so I thought I might as well dive in a post a few cards again......
This lovely young lady is a digi from Bugaboo Stamps. You should really take the time to surf on over there and check out the awesome digi's Jodi has to offer! Whimsical with an attitude......I just love them!
This card was made with a Gina K Luxury White base, then layered with Stampin' Up! card stock and DSP. I used Labels One Nestie to cut the frames and the sentiment is from a Clear Stamp set that Patti gave to me. (Isn't she maaavelous!! Check out her blog here. )
Well, I hope I will post a few more cards in the coming days. We are here in N. Idaho for part of next week and then on to S. Dakota where I will be working full time.....I can hardly wait to get back to work, really!!
Thanks for stopping by! Blessings!!

One More Valentine....
Happy Morning to all! I finished all my grandkids valentine cards the other day. Will mail the last ones out today. This one is for one of my grandsons. The image is a Stampin' Up one. I colored it with Koh-i-noor pencils, layered it with SU Real Red that I ran through my Cuttlebug. The small hearts are from a Gina K set. Tuxedo Black Ink, Real Red marker. Brads from JoAnn's.
Well, I have ladies coming for tea today, so have some tidying up to do! Thank you for stopping by today. Blessings!

Thank You Card
Happy Super Bowl Sunday to you all! I got inky instead of watching pre-game stuff. I just can't get into football. I like to watch other sports, but football just escapes me.
Actually, this card required very little stamping. Just the sentiment. The yummy paper is from the "La Creme" matstack from DCWV. It is wonderful paper! There are several sheets in the stack that have felt embossed designs, like the flowers on this card. Makes for a really easy card. Card base is Gina K Luxury Ivory, layered with black from the same matstack. Tuxedo black ink from Memento, Black grosgrain ribbon from Offray.
Pretty simple, but the effect is very pretty. It is nicer in person....my picture taking skills have never been my strong suit.......
Have a wonderful day! God Bless!

February Sister Swap
Good morning, stampers! Today my post is all about the sister swap that two of my sisters and I do each month. Terri was our "hostess" this month and she wanted us to use black, red and white and stipulated "no valentines". Color challenges are usually pretty tough for me, but this one I could handle, it came together pretty easily.

Card base is Gina K Luxury Black-you can't beat this paper! Layers are Stampin'Up! as is the sentiment. Flower stamp is a Clear Stamp. DP came from my scrapbox, I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and brads from Joann's.
Thanks for stopping by today! God Bless!

Valentines, valentines....
Good day happy stampers! I'm making a concerted effort to stamp A LOT more these days, largely to keep the cabin fever bug away......today's card was really fun to make, it made me smile........I love this DP! The image was colored while at my sister's house last week. I got to try out her Copics. Whew! They are pretty awesome, there is a learning curve involved though. It will take me some time for sure.
Card base is Gina K Luxury White, a black layer is layered with Bo Bunny Alisa DP, soo cute!, next layer is Stampin' Up! DSP, image is layered on more GKD Black cut with rectangle nestie. The image is drawn by P. Hillman, I'm not sure what company. Square brads are from JoAnn's. In the close-up below, you can see that I colored the heart on the bear's chest with a red gel pen from Spica. The angel wing also was colored with a Spica pen. They are really cool too, small particles of glass make the sparkle.
Thanks so much for stopping in today! I hope your day is blessed!
