Today's card is titled "My Heart is Happy". (it truly is !) This is just a simple, fun card. When I make a card, I look at it and am usually pleased with what I see and then I look at other girls' cards. My cards seem so simple, well I'm just a simple girl I guess, but I'm pretty happy this way! Hope you enjoy my simple mind! ;0)

Our Creative Corner Challenge Cards

Sorry I've been absent lately.....ended up with a horrendous cold and then had to catch up on work. But life goes on. I haven't made cards for the OCC challenge in quite some time, so I thought I could handle this one. ;0) This week the theme was to make a card with something that inspires. Well, I had picked up the American Craft DP awhile back and have had it out on my table, just looking at it, because I liked it so much. I thought it would be put to good use on this challenge. Supplies for both cards are listed below.

Supplies: All cardstock-DCWV, American Crafts DP, ,Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, Large butterfly image-Inkadinkado. Ink-Going Gray, Bliss Blue-Stampin' Up!, Ribbon-Offray, Pearls and Small Silver Blingage-Joann's. Butterflies and Sentiment popped up with dimensionals. Scalloped Edge punch-SU.

Crimped Envelope Card

This was for the technique spotlight on SCS today. What fun! You use an A2 envelope that you cut and then crimp if you want. Go to SCS and see the gallery here . Try some of these out. I plan to make some more, they are quick and easy.

Cherish Bulbs

Happy. Tuesday! I am SO pleased how this card turned out!. The stamped image is from the retired Stampin' Up! set " Bulbs in Bloom". I have had this set for a LONG time, but still enjoy it and use it often. Not so sure that these flowers come in this color, but I liked it and I guess it is okay to pretend :>)

Botanical Dreams

Good Monday morning! I got to do a little stamping before the Super Bowl yesterday. It was so nice to sit down a play awhile. While at my sister's house a few weeks ago, stamped several of this lovely orchid image for later use. It comes from the "Botanical Dreams" set from Gina K Designs. I think the card turned out nicely.
