Oh, Happy Day!!! I have been so anxious to post this card. I made it while at my sis, Patti's house about 6 weeks ago. It is for my wonderful son in law, whose birthday is on Saturday.
I know he will get a kick out of this. He DOES NOT dress like this, or have glasses, or wear his hair that way! This image is SO unlike him, but that is what makes it so much fun!! The sentiment does sound like his sense of humor though!

Recipe: Cardstock-Stampin' Up! Oval Nestie-Spellbinders, DSP-SU, Image-I just can't remember, it is from my sis-sorry!
Well, thanks for stopping by! God Bless!!

Sentiment is SU also.

Well, I guess it is off to work for me! Have a Wonder-filled day and thanks for stopping by!! God Bless!!

It's About Time.....

Well, I am visiting at my sister, Patti's house and we have been having a great time in her craft room, so I thought I might as well dive in a post a few cards again......

This lovely young lady is a digi from Bugaboo Stamps. You should really take the time to surf on over there and check out the awesome digi's Jodi has to offer! Whimsical with an attitude......I just love them!

This card was made with a Gina K Luxury White base, then layered with Stampin' Up! card stock and DSP. I used Labels One Nestie to cut the frames and the sentiment is from a Clear Stamp set that Patti gave to me. (Isn't she maaavelous!! Check out her blog here. )

Well, I hope I will post a few more cards in the coming days. We are here in N. Idaho for part of next week and then on to S. Dakota where I will be working full time.....I can hardly wait to get back to work, really!!

Thanks for stopping by! Blessings!!

Thank You Card

Happy Super Bowl Sunday to you all! I got inky instead of watching pre-game stuff. I just can't get into football. I like to watch other sports, but football just escapes me.
Actually, this card required very little stamping. Just the sentiment. The yummy paper is from the "La Creme" matstack from DCWV. It is wonderful paper! There are several sheets in the stack that have felt embossed designs, like the flowers on this card. Makes for a really easy card. Card base is Gina K Luxury Ivory, layered with black from the same matstack. Tuxedo black ink from Memento, Black grosgrain ribbon from Offray.
Pretty simple, but the effect is very pretty. It is nicer in person....my picture taking skills have never been my strong suit.......
Have a wonderful day! God Bless!

February Sister Swap

Good morning, stampers! Today my post is all about the sister swap that two of my sisters and I do each month. Terri was our "hostess" this month and she wanted us to use black, red and white and stipulated "no valentines". Color challenges are usually pretty tough for me, but this one I could handle, it came together pretty easily.
Card base is Gina K Luxury Black-you can't beat this paper! Layers are Stampin'Up! as is the sentiment. Flower stamp is a Clear Stamp. DP came from my scrapbox, I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and brads from Joann's.
Thanks for stopping by today! God Bless!

Valentines, valentines....

Good day happy stampers! I'm making a concerted effort to stamp A LOT more these days, largely to keep the cabin fever bug away......today's card was really fun to make, it made me smile........I love this DP! The image was colored while at my sister's house last week. I got to try out her Copics. Whew! They are pretty awesome, there is a learning curve involved though. It will take me some time for sure.
Card base is Gina K Luxury White, a black layer is layered with Bo Bunny Alisa DP, soo cute!, next layer is Stampin' Up! DSP, image is layered on more GKD Black cut with rectangle nestie. The image is drawn by P. Hillman, I'm not sure what company. Square brads are from JoAnn's. In the close-up below, you can see that I colored the heart on the bear's chest with a red gel pen from Spica. The angel wing also was colored with a Spica pen. They are really cool too, small particles of glass make the sparkle.
Thanks so much for stopping in today! I hope your day is blessed!

More Gkids Valentines!

Good Morning paper crafters! I have two more Grandkid Valentines today. My pictures aren't really great, the weather has been dark and dreary, so lighting was a problem. I made these a few days ago and wanted to get them posted.
Both cards use more Alien digi images from Janie over at GTC Crafting. Be sure to check her out, she has fabulous images! I colored both images with my Koh-i-noor pencils and blended with OMS. Card stock is from Stampin' Up! (yellow cardstock in the above card is a mystery-it was a gift ) DP is from DCWV of course.....Sentiments on both cards are Clear Stamps. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink on both cards. Other accessories include : SU Ticket Corner Punch, Word Window Punch, Marvy Circle Punches, Ribbon from Offray and Bling from Michaels. That covers everything, I think!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Blessings!

Sad and Sweet, C4C19 Challenge

It was a tough day here yesterday, (in the morning, anyway) We said goodbye to our youngest son and family. Jim is in the Air Force and they will be stationed in England for at least the next four years. I'm probably in big trouble from my daughter-in-law for posting this picture. They hadn't been getting much sleep and there were alot of tears, so this isn't the best picture I have of her. She is a beautiful girl, and what a handsome man that son of mine is, don't you think? Of course, those grandkids aren't lacking in the cute department either. I'm sure going to miss them all. Hoping to save for a trip over there!

Okay-on to the sweet.......I had made and posted a card for another granddaughters birthday a few weeks ago, but then I came across this dig stamp from Janie at GTC's Crafty Corner. Check out her blog, she has many digi stamps that she generously gives. They are of the cute and cuddly variety, I just love them!
Joelle just LOVES ponies and purple, and bling, so this card just has her name written all over it. I will be entering it in the Birthday Challenge over at the Crazy 4 Challenge blog.

Recipe: Cardstock-DCWV, Stampin' Up! Pattern Paper-DCWV, Image-GTC Crafty Corner, Koh-i-nor Pencils, OMS, Flower Punch-SU, Marvy, Glitter Paper-American Crafts,Rhinestone-Joann's, Glitter pen- (there is a bit of glitter on the tail and mane, don't know if you can see it in the pic)
I hope you enjoy this card, I sure had fun making it for Joelle. She will be 7 on Thursday.
Thanks for stopping in today! God Bless!
