No Stamping Involved!

Hello! My goodness, but life has been busy! I have had this card done for a bit but have not posted it since I was sending it to two of my sisters for a swap that we do. (Girls-I know I was supposed to do an Easter card, but with my trip and everything, I didn't get it done, so we settle for a "spring card" ........but then Sunflowers are not necessarily spring flowers are they? Oh well, life WILL go on I suppose. So, here are the details of this card:

Supplies: Gina K Pure Luxury White cardstock, Black cardstock is from the scrap heap. Sunflower Paper is from my stash (I have had it for years) {This is really bad, isn't it???} DP is Stampin' Up! Dewdrops-Robin's Nest, Scallop Edge Punch-Stampin' Up!
Thanks for stopping in today! God Bless!

Happy Birthday Ki!

Good Morning! It's so good to be back. We got home last Monday, but have been extremely busy catching up and I was called to work a few days also. Yesterday we traveled to our son and daughter-in-laws home for a birthday party. Our youngest grandson turned 1 year old. Ki is such a cutie....he was pretty timid with all the people in his house, but when it came time for cake, he knew just what to do! This is the card I made for him.

Supplies: Cardbase-GinaK Luxury White, DP-Stampin' Up! Red/Blue Cardstock-SU (from the scrap heap ;0) ) The stamped image is from Little Trucks-SU, colored with markers and popped up. I used my Cuttlebug and the Argyle EF for texture. The number "1" is chipboard covered with cardstock.
Thanks for looking! Have a great day. God Bless!

Pie Town New Mexico

Well, we arrived in Pie Town last Friday afternoon and have been enjoying ourselves immensely. The weather was pretty cold/snowy/windy all weekend. But we survived and today is a beautiful high mountain desert spring day. I even enjoyed a walk with some of the other ladies here. I'm hoping to take more pictures to show you, but keep forgetting my camera ;0(.

This is the park where we are staying. There really isn't much here for miles, but that is really nice, it is very peaceful except for the WIND!!

We stopped at Arches National Park on the way down. What awesome rock formations! They are all caused from wind erosion. The colors in the sandstone are gorgeous. The weather was pretty nice that day, so we got to walk alittle. Since we are pulling our 5th wheel, there wasn't always a great place to park.
Thanks for stopping in today. I hope to check back in a few more days. We are having a wonderful time and meeting some life long friends.

One Last One.....

Life has been VERY busy for me the last few weeks. We have had company and have been working on getting ready to go to New Mexico. My husband is speaking at a conference there, so we will be gone for several days. I won't be posting again until I get back. I will have internet service there, so I can still get my online stamping "fix".......well here is today's card.

I started with the image. I enjoyed coloring it and like how it turned out, but it took me several days to decide what to do. The sketch is based loosely on Julie Tilman's Mojo Monday # 80, but I couldn't get one of the panels or the circle in so, I didn't submit it. You should check out her site, it is great fun and her sketches are always top notch.

Supplies: Cardstock-Gina K Luxury White, Pink Pirouette, Sky Blue-Stampin' Up!, DP-Gina K Digi Paper, Stamped Images-Retired SU, Ribbon-Martha Stewart, Ticket Corner Punch, Koh-i-noor Pencil and OMS.

Hope you enjoy. I will maybe try to post some pictures from our trip if I get a minuted to do so. Have a great day and God Bless!
